Cornell Tech x Ballet Hispánico

Role: Video Producer, Post Producer

Cornell Tech approached TAIT to produce a video to celebrate the anniversary of the opening of their Roosevelt Island Campus in New York City. The video explores the connection between technology and dance by integrating objects like drones, robotics, and virtual reality within an expressive dance routine. It also engaged one of New York’s most inventive dance organizations, Ballet Hispánico. “What does it look like when one of the oldest cultural forms innovates for the future? What happens when technology serves as a core constituent of an artistic partnership?”

As the Video Producer on this project I was responsible for collaborating with the client to develop creative and pitched/presented concepts with their guidance and feedback. Additionally, I sourced a video production partner (CoenFilm), helped with budgeting, scheduling, logistics, and post-producing which was handled in-house at TAIT.
