PEEPS In Production: Meet the Coordinators
Role: Video Producer, Videographer, Video Editor
In close coordination with the productionglue (A TAIT Company) Marketing team, I co-developed series content for use on socials that would focus on introducing audiences to the people behind the scenes of productionglue projects. In this installment, we introduced the Production Coordinator team responsible for making sure event sites operated smoothly and that clients, producers, and staff felt like they had the tools necessary to succeed on site for their shows.
Scope Breakdown
As the Video Producer on this project I was responsible for coordinating interviews with team members, selecting locations, setting up lighting and filming, I was also responsible for filming b-roll video of each person we interviewed as well as sourcing archival footage from past and current projects.
For post-production, I then edited this into a 4-minute video and created a teaser/trailer version for social. I transcribed the interviews (roughly 60-minutes worth of content) and then marked up soundbites into string-outs which were eventually distilled into a narrative that would go to key stakeholders for approval. From there, the real editing began and would continue to work it’s way through feedback/revisions before I applied color grading and finishing work for web/social use.
